Looking at birds eye and taking into account the length of a car in the parking lot and also the overall hieight of the building, the distance of 34' 10" does seem consistent with the distance from the ground floor to the drain.

in my current pic14 3d file i have the roof at 15'.

not sure if moving the roof up to a more appropriate height will change the distance to the camera all that much, but i'll find when i make the necessary adjustments.

I would estimate the gutter being about 27' off the ground.  Camera 5 to 6 feet above ground.

I would estimate the gutter being about 27' off the ground.  Camera 5 to 6 feet above ground.

Living in the apartments, I would say that is a pretty accurate estimate. All the drainage pipes I have seen start from the third floor, the highest floor in each complex.
