I may be stretching it a bit here, but just thinking about Lev(iathans) sudden disappearance stating something big was coming up, could there be a link?

When James Camerons the Abyss came out there was a very similar movie up against it, but with far worse effects (CG?) called, wait for it... "Leviathan"

Wonder if all this is some Cameron prank (Do agree the terminator isaac style caret diagrams have far less detail and indeed are "childlike" in comparison)

Hi Yex,

Unless Lev contacts us to tell us why he "disappeared"  we have nothing but speculation.  I sent him an email asking what happened back in October but he did not respond.

I always thought he was a bit mental, or at least a wind up merchant, however, if he was indeed a group of CG artists.....

I would not mind if he made a few thousands $$ as a Fox consultant.
They were attracted by the drone shapes,
and had to find someone to do the job.

Would they create the whole drone affair, with various drones, plus the LAP and the whole CARET/PACL report, 2 years ahead of an episode in which a different model of drone shows up for a few seconds ?

To add to what Nemo posted,

Think of the entirety of the "saga". 

Would Fox have commissioned Shirley to act out her testimony?
Would Fox have gone onto private property to make the Chad pics?
Would Fox have set up a Sentinel reporter, made reporter quit the job and told said reporter to run from the PIs?
Would Fox set up LMH with another witness who recorded interviews?
Would Fox have photo witnesses converse with LMH and would they also have a photo witness (Raj) converse with Bren and Ivo of OMF?

All of this and much more for a TV show episode that wasn't even in idea stage back in May '07?

Yep, agree with you guys, I don`t think it is, just that if anyone could pull it off it would be someone with the resources of Cameron/Fox. Got a strong hunch that Levs group is involved though

by the way, just noticed this in isaacs letter too describing the language   

"If the first in the list was, say, "fox", the second item excludes all words with the letters F, O and X. If the next word you choose is "tree", then the third word in the list can't have the letters F, O, X, T, R, or E in it. "

I'm not sure if this will put an end to this but I will assure you that the incorporation of drone-like imagery into TSCC should not in any way suggest there was/is a relationship between the original drone images and our show. The drone images are as much a puzzle to me as to anybody else...Maybe more so, as my obsession with their mysterious origins led me to go on and on about them in the writers' room...So much so that we ultimately used the mystery as a platform for "Earthlings Welcome Here."

It never occurred to me that anyone would use their inclusion in our show to cast any doubt onto the drones authenticity. They may be a hoax--it's ultimately a matter of faith for many--but the fact that the drones are discussed on TSCC is only a testament to their hold on my imagination.

You may also doubt that I am who I say I am. I'm not exactly sure how to prove my own authenticity. Charlie Jane and I sat together upstairs at the WB booth at comic-con and I showed him the i09 button on my iPhone if that'll help.

This should clear the air once and for all.  I sent an email to Fox a few days ago asking these same answered questions but never received a response.  I'm sure Josh was being inundate with mail asking the same.
