Raj pole has been found
« on: January 09, 2009, 12:00:39 AM »
The "Raj" Pole has been found by a coordinated effort of the DRT.

The PIs and DRT have been on-site to conclusively determine that this is the exact same pole as seen in the Raj photos.

The pole is not within the Capitola limits.

Research in the neighbourhood requires total discretion. No questions shall be answered at this time.

Further investigative results will follow at a later time. Questions may be entertained at that time.

from Calikid on OMF :
"Wonder if there is a chance of getting a close up of the yellow ID "numbers" on the found pole.

I'd like to compare them to the original research done back in the day..... just see how close (or far off) we all were.
"

That is very legitimate, but could help to find the pole
before the PIs had finished checking everything around.

To answer the question of exactly who found the pole, it was DRT member Nekitamo, assisted by 11August, who found it on the 29th of December.

Also to clarify an earlier release, the Raj location is not in Capitola.

The investigation continues....

Way to go team, congrats to all. Now I can stop trying to find poles on Google Earth.

Did they keep count on all the poles they viewed before finding it. ::)

Now Raj.

Now they found the pole it shouldn't be too hard to find a mechanical engineer, who's wife is a mother and a homemaker, with an engaged daughter and a younger son studying graphic design and illustration, including digital art who live right near the pole.

I'm curious why he used Capitola? is the location near Capitola and he got confused? Since it was his in laws maybe he generalized the location since he did not live there. Unless the actual pole location is nowhere near Capitola, then he obviously isn't mistaken. But his family still has to live near there (the pole) if the rest of his story is true.

Congrats to finding the missing pole.  But maybe the danger in the DRT-work is underestimated. At least if the drones are true.  This is a true James Bond mission.

I'm curious why he used Capitola?

This thread may provide a possible answer.
