A Wiki has been created for the entire drone/CARET case:
  http://droneteam.com/mediawiki

Please check it out, create an account, and update it.

Hopefully this Wiki serves as a place where all the information of the investigation can be gathered and organized. It may serve as a better place for newcomers than trudging through 1000's of messages on various forums. It might even help others in their investigation.

Currently the system is open for anyone to create an account, log in, and edit. If vandalism becomes too great, then an approval system would have to be implemented.

It is based on the same software that Wikipedia uses.

Slowly, more pages are being added to the Wiki.

You can see all the Wiki pages here.

I am trying my best to leave my emotions at the door :)

Go ahead and make corrections or additions yourself, it is actually quite easy.

I encourage everyone to at least register at the wiki, then when you later on think of something that you want to edit or contribute, it's that much easier!

I took a quick browse through the wiki and noticed something I thought was odd.  Correct me if I'm wrong but the Tahoe wife sighting happened on May 5 at 6:52 PM (according to exif data on the pics).  I checked the date and it does turn out to be a Saturday just as the report states. "My husband and I were in Lake Tahoe over the weekend. We left on Friday afternoon and came back Monday morning. On Saturday at about 7 PM...".  The report was posted to Mufon the following Saturday, May 12.  The Wiki has it as April 15.

Corrected. Thanks!

PS. The Wiki has an EXIF extractor for the images which makes it easy to check those files.

Google Maps has been added to the Wiki:
  http://droneteam.com/mediawiki/index.php/Main_Page

I think this is quite a useful and easy-to-use/edit tool!

A few of the actual photo sighting locations have been added, even Mr. Smith's sighting in Cochran has been added ;)

Many more sighting locations are still to be added.

OK, I'm not a master of organization, so I just put the map on the main page. Maybe another page would be suitable but right now it's not too crowded.

More detailed help for creating map points can be found here. But, simply clicking on the "make a map" icon in the edit page is pretty straight forward.
